What is the Bryan Arms Ministry?

Wondering what the heck we're talking about when we say "Bryan Arms?"

That's our fault... let us explain.

Bryan Arms is a precious ministry of students at Texas A&M that has been ongoing for many years. Situated in a very low-income area of Bryan, Texas, Bryan Arms is an apartment complex full of young families. RUF students have elected to come along side the members of Westminster Presbyterian Church (located in Bryan) in ministering to the families at Bryans Arms.

Each Friday afternoon, RUF students arrive at Bryan Arms to be welcomed by sometimes as many as two dozen kids who are eager to play. The kids at Bryan Arms are amazing and tons of fun. We play with the kids for about an hour, teach a short Bible story, and then give them snacks. This is a great opportunity for us to share the love of Christ through relationship building and mentoring opportunities.

If the Bryan Arms ministry sounds like something you might be interested in, please don't hesitate to contact Ben Hailey. (His information can be found here.)

Coming soon, we'll have students post stories of their own experiences with these great kids.
